Tips to Lower Your Heating Bill

Orem can get cold. Really cold. And as great as it is to snuggle up with a cozy sweater, a fuzzy blanket, and a hot drink, these things won’t always be enough to truly keep you warm. Thank goodness for the wonderful invention that is the heater!

If, however, the sheer cost of using it has become a concern, keeping warm can be seen as a bit of a double-edged sword. You can choose comfort at a high cost, or you can keep your bills low and shiver all day long.

We want you to know that you should be able to choose both options. Staying warm and enjoying reasonable heating bills shouldn’t be exclusive events. If you are treating them like they are, we have some tips that will help keep you warm and financially happy this winter.

Cold House? Here’s Why…

You’ve fought it long and hard but you don’t have a choice…you’ve GOT to turn on the heater! It is way too cold in the house and your kids can’t feel their toes anymore. You turn to the thermostat and get all the settings in place and you hear your system kick on. Warmth and relief are on their way!

Or are they? After a delay, you can hear the system running (noisily you might add) but there is no warm air! In fact, your vents are emitting cool air which is making things worse!

This situation is incredibly frustrating but thankfully we know the reason for this occurrence…and we know the solution for it too!
